I think this was my favorite book in the series so far!
Verity,
Frankie, Mollie, and Mother Mary make for an entertaining and
mysterious group of characters. In this installment of the Southern
Ghost Hunter Mysteries we actually have two concurrent plots - 1
surrounding Verity and a death - and 1 surrounding Frankie.
After
hiring Verity to help with what appears to be a poltergeist issue the
new president of the historical society is found dead. Verity is the
only person who thinks the death is suspicious, and only her tenacity
will keep the investigation going.
Frankie manages to insult a
mobster known for "erasing" ghosts and needs to find a place to hide. In
doing so he also manages to find himself a little something more. Can
Frankie finally have found his purpose for being?

A small space in the digital world to share thoughts on the books that get crammed into the tiny amounts of reading space I manage to scrape out of my overly-full schedule. Postings may not always be PC, and will most definitely have sprinklings of sarcasm spread throughout. They will always be my thoughts though so read or don't - it's up to you!

Dog Gone Ghost (Southern Ghost Hunter Mysteries, #4.5) by Angie Fox

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Super cute and quick read! Verity manages to get Frankie to help a little boy out with his dog issue. Despite being short this story made me chuckle... and tear up. Well worth the read! :)

Deader Homes and Gardens by Angie Fox

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Verity and crew are back - and trying to puzzle out a century-old curse!
In this installment, Verity has given up on her graphic design business, and is now trying to make ends meet as a ghost hunter. Things have never been better between her and Ellis. Even Lucy is enjoying the new life they've got going... especially since Ellis is teaching her new tricks! When Verity lands her first ghost hunting job at the locally renowned haunted estate of Rock Fall things certainly seem to be looking up. But, nothing is ever as easy as that when ghosts are involved.
This book was my favorite from the series so far. Angie managed to mix the mystery, romance, and adventure in a truly inspired way throughout this book. Check it out, and see if you can figure out who the culprit is before they reveal themselves!

The Haunted Heist by Angie Fox

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Verity & Frankie are up to it again! Frankie has become increasingly upset regarding his "grounding" while Verity has been putting more energy into trying to get her graphic design business back up to par. When her best friend's uncle gives her a chance to get her business up and running again she jumps on the opportunity,... and - as usual - ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time.
When circumstances point to the possibility of a ghost being the culprit Verity and Frankie join forces with Ellis to try to get to the bottom of the caper and ghostly craziness ensues!
I love the zany and fun action in this series! Verity's circle of friends (and LUCY!) help keep you on your toes no matter which story you are reading!
